Usually I'm not a point-and-shoot kind of girl, and I don't typically rely on viewer graphics settings to achieve the look I'm after. This comes from having a lower-quality video card for a long time; I was forced to be creative in order to compensate for less-than-ideal conditions.
As far as I'm concerned the initial in-world snapshot is only the beginning, the raw material from which I work to coax a piece of art that will exceed expectations of Second Life photography. To achieve the vision I have for a piece, I will often work "on-site" at a location within SL, combining custom backgrounds and artistic elements as well as unique poses created as needed for a composition. A single photograph will often take an entire evening to create, sometimes longer depending on what I have in mind. I hope that this care and attention to detail is evident in my work.
This blog is intended to serve as my portfolio, comprised of the following kinds of pieces:
- Portraits
- SL / RL integrated images
- Landscapes
- Builds
- Events
- Anything that strikes my fancy
Please feel free to ask questions, and/or let me know if you'd like to work with me on an idea.
